Our new web address is www.njiia.org.We have reorganized our content so that you can more easily find what you need for the month such as our events, previous newsletters, job postings, recent articles, and any other chapter administration information.

Over the next two months, we will focus on fraud related topics for internal auditors. On February 21st, we will have a webinar event by the former Chair of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners talk about her experiences as a forensic investigator and how internal auditors can apoply these experience.

Then, on March 24th, we will have an all-day seminar on “Corporate Financial Fraud: A Case Study of "Crazy Eddie, Inc." and Occupational Fraud and Employee Theft” where two convicted fraudsters will detail how they almost got away with their schemes (Sam E. Antar, former CPA and Chief Financial Officer of Crazy Eddie, Inc. and Barry J. Webne, a former controller for a manufacturing company in Cleveland, Ohio, who was convicted of bank fraud for embezzling over $1 Million over a four year period).
